How to Play Super Spike V'Ball

Quick start

In a tournament mode, choose the desired course before reaching GAME START. Press START at the title, select a game mode and confirm with START. Choose your team before selecting GAME START. For a serve, use up/down to position the server, press A to toss and press A again as the ball drops. For a jump serve, press B after the toss, then A to strike. On a return, move toward the ground marker and press A when the ball reaches your player. Approach the net, jump with B and hit with A to spike. Once basic timing is comfortable, tap B repeatedly while airborne before the A hit to charge a stronger spike.

Controls

Directional pad: move the marked player and menu cursor; aim serves and spikes. A: toss/hit a serve, receive or strike the ball. B: jump; repeat B in the air before A to charge a spike. Serve: A, then A; jump serve: A, B, A. Spike: B, then A. At the net while the opponents hold the ball, jump to block. START: start/confirm. Multiplayer input depends on the emulator’s supported controllers. START also pauses during play; SELECT moves option cursors.

Super Spike V'Ball — About this game

Super Spike V'Ball presents the Western version of this two-a-side beach-volleyball game, with practice and circuit choices in its tournament menus. This beach-volleyball game gives a small team plenty to do: get beneath the landing marker, receive the ball, prepare an attack and send it past the opposing pair. A hits the ball and B jumps, so a strong spike depends on positioning and timing rather than a separate attack command. Repeated B presses during a jump build power before the A hit, creating a shot that can overwhelm the receiving side. Different teams offer different playing strengths, while configuration options let you adjust the match rules. A solo player can compete against the computer, and supported multiplayer setups allow teammates or opponents to share the court. More than two players requires suitable controller support; browser networking or four-controller compatibility is not guaranteed.
