How to Play Vegas Dream
Quick start
Press START to reach the mode screen, then use SELECT to choose Vegas Dream or One Spot. For a new Vegas Dream run, choose Start with A, enter each player name, and begin with small blackjack or roulette wagers while learning how the D-pad changes columns and amounts. Avoid committing most of the bankroll to one round, and judge random offers carefully. When stopping, press SELECT to open the sub-screen, choose Game Stop, and record the displayed password for every player.
Controls
General: use the D-pad to choose games, bet amounts and cursor positions; press A to enter wagers and selections. SELECT chooses the opening mode and opens the in-game sub-screen; START begins the game. B passes the round to the next player. Roulette: choose the betting position and amount with the D-pad and A; after the final player finishes, B spins the wheel. Slots: set the stake with the D-pad and A, then press B to spin. Keno: use the D-pad and A to choose numbers, select END, and enter the wager. Button roles can vary within each casino game.
Vegas Dream — About this game
The Japanese release, Viva Las Vegas, combines four casino games with a light event-driven journey for one to four players. In Vegas Dream mode, every player begins with $700 and tries to reach $1,000,000 through blackjack, American roulette, Pot o' Gold or Jackpot Bar slots, and keno. Between rounds, other guests may propose side bets, ask for help, offer questionable deals or start a romance, and each decision can add to or drain the bankroll. One Spot mode removes those encounters and lets the group move directly among the same four games. The Japanese and North American releases use the same gameplay; their main differences are language and a few script expressions.
