How to Play 高機動戦闘メカ ヴォルガードII
Quick start
For the title, select LEVEL with SELECT and start with START. First, move the fighter plane using the D-pad and press A to attack enemies in the air and on the ground. Destroy the radar while refraining from wasting fire, and when an arrow appears at the rear of the transport ship, approach it and replenish it. If Unit 02 is behind you, press B to combine into a robot. On the ground, jump above and use B punch. To return to flight mode, press B near the top of the jump.
Controls
Fighter plane: Move with the cross key, press A for anti-air/ground shots, and when accompanied by Unit 02, press B to combine into a robot. Robot: Move left and right, jump up, crouch down, A to shoot, B to punch. Shooting uses power, punches do not. Press B near the highest point of the jump to return to flight mode. In the title, select LEVEL with SELECT and start with START. While playing, press START to pause and press again to resume.

``Volgard II'' is a side-scrolling shooting game for the Famicom where you control battle mechs and fight on Earth, which is ruled by the giant computer ``Zygam Boldo''. It is important to separately manage the power gauge, which decreases by shooting and increases by defeating enemies, and the damage meter, which increases by being hit. If you use too much power, you may lose equipment or only be able to shoot missiles aimed at the ground, so don't keep shooting recklessly. If you destroy the radar and receive supplies from the transport ship that appears, your damage will be halved and you will get options based on your remaining power. If it joins up with Unit 02, it can receive support fire, and it can even combine to become a robot that walks on the ground. The robot's punches do not consume power, so enjoy using them for shooting while in flight and maintaining equipment until resupply.
