Waku Waku DS 1 Nensei brings twelve games together around observation, listening, memory and other simple challenges. Different animal partners mark the areas: a cat accompanies observation, a rabbit listening and a fox memory. Hiragana, katakana and numbers add early-school material, while animations show the writing order of eighty first-grade kanji. The level system gives you a reason to return to familiar activities. Start with one category and learn what its prompt asks before moving on, rather than assuming every animal presents the same kind of question.
