How to Play Panic Restaurant
Quick start
Press START and begin Level One. Move with the D-pad, jump with A, and attack repeatedly with B. Duck under high threats and use Up or Down on ladders and chains. Your frying pan is short ranged, so strike once an enemy enters its lane, then collect the spoon or plates for safer reach. Candy restores one heart; a lollipop adds a heart container; a chef hat gives an extra life; and the cooking pot grants temporary invincibility. Gather coins dropped by bosses for the slot bonus. In a bonus room, SELECT exits early if you want to return to the restaurant.
Controls
D-pad Left/Right: walk. Down: duck. Up/Down: climb ladders, chains, and similar fixtures. A: jump; combine with Left or Right to jump sideways. B: attack with the currently held weapon; press repeatedly when fighting. START: begin the game, pause, and resume. SELECT: leave a bonus level and return to the restaurant. Menu selections use the D-pad and START.
Panic Restaurant — About this game
Panic Restaurant is a single-player NES action platformer built around a restaurant overrun by hostile food and kitchenware. The villain Ohdove has seized Cookie’s business, so the chef fights through six themed courses—Appetizer, Soup, Salad, Fish, Meat, and Dessert—before the final confrontation. Cookie starts with a short-range frying pan but can collect a longer spoon, a pogo-like fork, throwable plates, and a temporary invincibility pot. Candy restores a heart, lollipops expand maximum health, and chef hats grant extra lives. Each stage ends with an oversized culinary boss and a coin-funded bonus game, making careful item collection and weapon preservation as important as platforming.
