How to Play Whac-A-Mole

Quick start

Choose Arcade from the title menu, select a starting stage and begin the timed round. Move the targeting marker over a hole and strike only when a mole appears. Build the required score before time expires; golden moles are especially valuable, while hitting the plush decoy costs points. Later rounds add moles that fight back, so clear the first simple grid before learning the power-ups.

Controls

D-pad: move the target among the nine holes and navigate menus. A: swing the mallet/confirm. B: cancel or return. START: pause the current round. The exact GBA manual does not identify a separate essential action for L, R or SELECT.
