How to Play Wheel of Fortune
Quick start
Press START, choose the player count and computer options with Left/Right and A or B, then enter names and select END. Choose SPIN and confirm, then press A or B again to launch the wheel; the moving bar determines spin speed. Pick a consonant. Once enough clues appear, choose SOLVE, enter missing letters, and confirm END before time expires.
Controls
Left/Right: move through letters and choices. A and B are interchangeable: confirm selections, enter letters, and spin. To correct typed letters, select the left-arrow correction symbol and confirm with A or B; B alone is not a backspace. Select END and confirm to submit a name or solution. START begins the game. SELECT is unused. Players 1 and 3 use Controller 1; Player 2 uses Controller 2.
Wheel of Fortune — About this game
Wheel of Fortune brings the television word game to NES for one to three contestants, with optional computer opposition when fewer than three people play. A spin sets the cash value of a correct consonant; vowels cost $250 from the current round's winnings. Choose when to keep building clues and when to risk solving, because wrong letters, incorrect answers, and expired timers can end your turn. Bankruptcy removes that round's earnings, not money carried over from earlier rounds. After the speed-up round, the highest total earns a final prize puzzle with five consonants and one vowel to reveal clues. Players one and three share the first controller.
