How to Play Wheel of Fortune
Quick start
Start a game and read the category and blank spaces. Spin, pick a consonant and study the revealed letters. Buy a vowel when useful, or choose to solve once you can enter the whole phrase.
Controls
Flick the wheel with the stylus to spin. Tap letters on the onscreen keyboard and use the solve option to enter your answer. Select the displayed choices for actions such as buying a vowel.
Wheel of Fortune — About this game
Wheel of Fortune recreates the television word game with Pat Sajak and Vanna White. Read the category, spin for a consonant’s value and use the revealed letters to work out the phrase. Buying vowels can help, but costs money; a wrong guess or an unlucky wheel space can end a promising turn. Winning requires judgment as well as vocabulary: decide when another spin is worth the risk and when you know enough to solve. The DS version uses a stylus wheel and touchscreen keyboard, with up to three contestants sharing one system.
