Where the Wild Things Are — About this game
Where the Wild Things Are gives Max a side-scrolling adventure through an island in danger. Platforming routes are broken up by puzzles and encounters with the Wild Things: their abilities help him reach places he cannot cross alone. Watch the terrain before rushing ahead and consider which creature can help at an obstacle. The DS game uses a different 2D design from the home-console adventure. Begin by learning Max’s movement and jumps, then work out how a nearby companion changes the route rather than treating every barrier as another jump.
