How to Play Windy x Windam
Quick start
Choose Training and a fighter. Practice movement and a basic attack, then try the dash and hover commands shown in the controls. Move to Story Mode once you can control distance and recognize when a strike connects.
Controls
Use the Control Pad to move and jump. Use the assigned attack, dash and hover buttons, checking the game’s control display for their mapping. Practice special-move inputs separately and watch the charge and life gauges during a match.
Windy x Windam — About this game
Windy x Windam is a one-on-one fighting game in the magical kingdom of Gawain, where Windies grant combat powers and flight. Fighters use punches, kicks and special moves to empty the opposing life gauge, with the DS arena extending upward across both screens. Story Mode leads through character encounters; Training gives space to learn attacks before a match. Dashing and hovering change the distance, so begin by finding the range of one basic strike rather than attempting every special move at once. The original release also offers local Versus using a single game card.
