How to Play Wing Commander: Prophecy
Quick start
Select New Game, read the Midway introduction, visit the briefing room and accept the first mission. In space, keep the target near the centre of the HUD, use the lead diamond to place gunfire, and reserve missiles for a clean lock. The first assignment is to escort the Marine transport to the communications relay and defend the relay from incoming fighters; START opens the wingman command list.
Controls
D-pad: pitch and turn the fighter/navigate menus. A: fire guns. B: launch a missile when a target is acquired. START: open wingman commands in flight and pause/menu outside combat. L/R are used as modifiers with face buttons for specialised flight commands; use the manual's command chart rather than assuming a single shoulder action.
