How to Play Wipeout 2
Quick start
Select a contestant and begin a course. Read the action prompts, watch one cycle of a moving hazard and then attempt the crossing. Retry difficult sections with a different approach; choose Hot Seat to take turns with friends.
Controls
Use the directional controls to guide your contestant and the displayed action buttons to cross obstacles. Check the on-screen prompts before jumping or avoiding a hazard. In Hot Seat, pass the system to the next player when prompted.
Wipeout 2 — About this game
Wipeout 2 sends contestants through hazards drawn from the television competition, including swinging pads, punching gloves and huge wrecking balls. The sequel adds seasonal settings, with snow, ice and foam joining familiar obstacles such as the Big Balls. Progress depends on judging when to move and when to wait: a badly timed attempt can end in water or mud. The DS version also supports four-player Hot Seat play, with participants taking turns on the system.
