How to Play Wit's
Quick start
Press START on the title, select the mode using the four-way controller, and press START to confirm. When the match starts, use the D-pad to change direction and distance yourself from both the wall created by your trajectory and the opponent's wall. A is acceleration, but the faster you go, the harder it becomes to dodge suddenly, so it's safe to use it in long straight lines. B's jump is limited to once in normal stages and twice in vehicle stages, so save it until you are forced into an enclosure with no exit. In CPU battles, it will be more stable if you watch your opponent's movements and the mechanisms on each side, and instead of chasing them head-on, run to eliminate escape routes first.
Controls
D-pad: Player direction control. Select commands and aspects from the menu. A button: Speed up. B button: Jump (usually once per stage, twice in vehicle stages). START button: Start the game from the title and decide on the selected command or side. A corresponding 4 PLAYERS adapter is required for 4-player matches.
Wit's — About this game
“Wit’s” is a fixed-screen competitive action game that leaves walls one after another in the places your character passes through. If you or your opponent hit a wall, you will make a mistake, so instead of just running around, the key to winning is reading your opponent's path and drawing lines to guide them into tight spaces. In addition to the mode where one player fights against the computer, 2-player vs. CPU, 2- and 3-player matches between players, and 4-player matches using the 4 PLAYERS adapter are included. In the CPU battle, you advance through stages with opponents with different mechanisms such as Dashman, Boardman, Multiman, Swimman, Freezeman, etc., and aim for the final boss after defeating 5 people. The timing to use acceleration and limited jumps is an important decision for survival.
