Quick start
Begin with Tutorial or Practice. Position the cue, inspect the projected paths and set a modest power level. Add spin only after learning straight shots, then pull back and push forward to strike. Try a Friendly Match before the championships.
Controls
Move the stylus to aim, then select spin and the power-gauge setting. Pull the cue back and move it forward to strike. The white guide shows the cue ball’s path and yellow the target ball’s path. Directional-button controls are also available.

World Snooker Championship: Season 2007-08 offers tutorials, practice and friendly or quick matches before the championship ladder. Use the table views and aiming trails to judge the cue ball and target ball, then choose spin and power before taking the shot. The stylus pulls the cue back and pushes it forward, but shot strength comes from the selected power setting rather than the speed of that gesture. Championship progress opens further competitions and professional opponents. A two-player mode lets players take turns on the same DS.
