How to Play X-Men: The Official Game
Quick start
Begin the first mission, try movement in open space and practise one targeted attack. Change mutant when the encounter calls for another power, then follow the mission exit.
Controls
D-pad moves and shoulder buttons switch available mutants. Use the touch screen to target attacks; Magneto manipulates metal with a drag or flick. Follow prompts in Nightcrawler's sections.
X-Men: The Official Game — About this game
Wolverine, Iceman and Magneto solve fights differently, while Nightcrawler has his own sections. Move into a useful position before touching a target: a close enemy suits claws, a distant one invites ice, and metal objects give Magneto something to throw. Early encounters are a chance to learn the difference rather than stay with one fighter. Read the next objective after clearing a room, watch where enemies approach and switch when the current power cannot solve the obstacle.
