How to Play Xia-Xia
Quick start
Select a crab and the opening goal. Practise a short jump, open the first container and check whether its contents are needed for a nearby door.
Controls
D-pad moves, B jumps and Y snaps the claws. Use repeated snaps where needed to open containers or clear an obstacle; watch the route before jumping.
Xia-Xia — About this game
Choose a crab and a level goal before setting out: rescuing a Kooky friend and collecting sand dollars give the same place different purposes. Jump between ledges, snap open obstacles and look for objects that open the next door. Start by following the small route signs, then explore side paths once the main route is familiar. Underwater movement changes the reach of a jump, so test it before heading for a high ledge. The focus is unhurried platform exploration and replaying a place for another goal.
