How to Play Youkai Douchuuki
Quick start
Select START to start, move left and right, jump with A, and shoot telekinesis with B. Before approaching the enemy, collect your spirit below and press B at a suitable location to fire a spirit bullet. If you charge too much, you'll run out of breath and become unable to move, so it's safe to not fill up the gauge too much. Collect the gold dropped by monsters, secure recovery and amulets at the Yorozu shop, and strengthen your jump and spirit at the prayer hall first. If you have an amulet, use SELECT to call Monmotaro and use it in situations such as red demons. While underwater, you can swim in all directions using the D-pad, but you cannot use Kiai or Summon.
Controls
D-pad left and right: Move. Bottom: Gather your spirit. If you walk diagonally downward, you can walk while keeping your spirits up. Move the cursor in conversations and shops. A: Jumps, conversations and shopping decisions. Swim faster underwater when carrying webbed. B: Fires psychokinesis, and if in Kiai, Kiai bullet. SELECT: Summons Monmotaro when you have the amulet and press it again to return it (not possible underwater). START: Advance to title, start game, pause during play. Underwater, you can freely change direction using the cross keys. During prayer training, hit A and B repeatedly within the time limit.

``Yokai Dochuuki'' is a side-scrolling action game in which you control Tarosuke, a mischievous boy who was sent to hell as a punishment by God, and travels through five worlds. Press A to jump, press B to fire a telekinetic shot, and press down to charge up your spirit to fire a more powerful spirit bullet. The money that the monsters drop is used for recovery items, movement aids, amulets, and rapid fire reinforcement at the Yorozu shop, and at the prayer hall, you can improve your spirit, spirit, and jumping ability by making offerings and training with continuous fire. If you have an amulet, you can use SELECT to summon Monmotaro and attack enemies from the air. Travel through the Hell Entrance, the Path of Penance, the Ghost Sea, the Valley of Judgment, and the Ring World, collect treasure, and reach the Trial of King Enma. Pius who shows his faith and his actions along the way will affect the judgment, and eventually branch into 6 different endings.
