How to Play Ys III: Wanderers from Ys
Quick start
After watching what happened in Redmont at the beginning, listen to the story in town and prepare your equipment at the store. At the entrance of the town, I received a request to rescue the quarry and went to the Tigray quarry. First, get used to A's jump and B's attack near the entrance and earn experience points. When your HP decreases, return to the entrance where you can recover, prepare well, and proceed deeper. To check your equipment and belongings, press SELECT to open the menu.

Cross button: Move Adol, move the menu cursor. A: Jump. B: Attack. SELECT: Open/close menu. START: Use the currently equipped item.
Ys III: Wanderers from Ys — About this game
When Adol and Dogi visited Redmont, a monster appeared in the quarry, and Edgar, the person in charge, was left behind. The Famicom version of "Ys III" is an action RPG where you gather information and equipment in a town, explore from a side view, and engage in sword combat. Not only the distance of your jumps, but also the experience points you get from defeating enemies and the strength of your equipment will determine your strategy. In the early stages, it's a good idea to learn how to fight near the entrance to the quarry, and when things get dangerous, return to the entrance where you can recover. While the ring has the effect of aiding attack and defense, the ring power is used while equipped, so you will want to select and use it when necessary.
