How to Play Zoo Tycoon 2 DS
Quick start
Begin with an easy campaign scenario and read its goal and deadline. Build an enclosure, select an animal and check its favorites before buying habitat items. Place a keeper, review the animal’s needs and expand only after the first exhibit is working.
Controls
Use the Control Pad to move around the map and the stylus or pointer to choose menus and place items. Tap an animal and its favorites button to inspect habitat preferences. In Zookeeper mode, follow the touch prompts for the selected care activity.

Zoo Tycoon 2 DS asks you to create suitable enclosures, keep animals happy and attract visitors to fund more development. Select an animal’s favorites to see preferred ground, water, foliage and shelter, then adapt its exhibit. Research unlocks more species while campaign scenarios set goals, budgets and deadlines. Zookeeper mode brings you closer to the animals through short care activities such as feeding. Freeform mode lets you choose starting conditions and build at your own pace.
