How to Play Zoo Tycoon DS
Quick start
Begin with the tutorials before a scenario. Make an enclosed exhibit, add appropriate terrain and animal facilities, then place animals and a keeper inside. Connect visitor areas with paths and review the animal and guest lists before spending on another exhibit.
Controls
Choose tools on the touch screen; use the Control Pad to position objects and A to place them. B cancels, X undoes, L rotates the camera and SELECT changes zoom. R rotates objects or changes an animal’s gender during selection. START pauses.
Zoo Tycoon DS — About this game
Zoo Tycoon DS brings zoo building to the DS through a grid-based construction system. Place fences, paths, terrain, plants and buildings, then fill suitable enclosures with animals and keepers. Scenario games provide objectives involving care and money, while Freeform lets you choose a map and starting budget. Animal, guest and staff lists help identify problems, and the finance screen tracks income and expenditure. Research, conservation and admission pricing give you further ways to shape the park.
