How to Play 10-Yard Fight

Quick start

Select 1 PLAYER and begin on High School difficulty. After the kickoff, use diagonal movement to slip around tacklers. At the line of scrimmage, press A once to snap; do not tap it again unless you want the forward pass. Run with the quarterback when the middle is open, or hold toward an open side and press B for a lateral. Save forward passes for a clearly open lane because an interception costs field position. Your immediate goal is not a touchdown on every play—gain ten yards within four downs and keep possession moving.

Controls

The D-pad moves the highlighted ball carrier or defender. On offense, A snaps the ball and then throws to the forward/right receiver; B passes laterally to the left receiver. At the start of an offensive play, hold Down while pressing A to enter kick mode, aim with Left/Right, and press A to punt or attempt a field goal or extra point. On defense, A or B selects the correspondingly marked defender before the play and makes that player dive forward for a tackle during play. Select changes 1 PLAYER/2 PLAYERS or skill choices, and Start confirms menus or pauses.

10-Yard Fight — About this game

10-Yard Fight turns American football into a fast, playbook-free arcade contest. On offense, control the ball carrier directly, run through gaps, throw laterally to a back, or send a forward pass to the lone deep receiver. Gain ten yards within four downs to keep the drive alive, then finish with a touchdown, extra point, or field goal. Defense is equally direct: choose one of two marked players and dive at the carrier. Solo victories advance through High School, College, Professional, Playoff, and Super Bowl difficulty, while two players can compete simultaneously.
