How to Play A Sound of Thunder
Quick start
Choose Single Player from the main menu to enter Stage 1. Password loads a previously unlocked stage, and Link-up is limited to stages for which you already have the relevant password. As you explore, press R beside pickups, doors or mechanisms to collect or activate them, and use SELECT when you need to check your statistics. L cycles weapons; the rapid starting gun is useful at range, while the electric rod can be charged by holding A. Record the six-digit password shown after a completed level, as each stage begins with its own set loadout.
Controls
Use the D-pad to move through the isometric stages. A operates the selected weapon, and holding A charges the electric rod; B jumps; L changes weapon; R activates usable scenery or collects an object; SELECT shows statistics; START pauses. The main menu offers Single Player for the campaign, Password for entering an unlocked stage code, Link-up for compatible multiplayer stages, and Options for gamma, sound and music settings.
