How to Play Zombie Nation

Quick start

Select Easy, choose Round I, and practice controlling Namakubi's momentum before pursuing score. Tap a direction to move, then tap the opposite direction early to brake near lasers or walls. Press B rapidly to destroy buildings as well as enemies, and touch the people thrown into the air before they land. Five rescues improve your firepower, so safe rescues are your first priority. Once the star/special indicator is active, hold the A-button smart bomb for a dense wave or a section where your large head cannot drift to safety.

Controls

Use the D-pad to move Namakubi up, down, left, and right; the character retains momentum, so use opposite input to decelerate. B fires projectiles from the eyes and mouth. A launches the single smart bomb only when special-attack mode is active. On stage select, the D-pad chooses Rounds I–IV, Select switches Easy/Hard, and Start begins. During gameplay Start pauses, resumes, and continues, while Select is unused.

Zombie Nation — About this game

In Zombie Nation, the alien Darc Seed has enslaved the United States and awakened deadly weapons with its magnetic power. The samurai head Namakubi crosses four selectable regions to destroy hostile scenery, free zombie hostages, and recover the legendary sword Shura. Catch people before they fall: every group of five upgrades the normal shot to double and triple rapid fire, then arms a one-use smart bomb. Each region ends with a boss, and clearing all four opens the final battle. Heavy, sliding movement makes careful braking central to survival.
