How to Play Adventures in the Magic Kingdom, Disney's

Quick start

Talk to Mickey outside the castle, open the map and tackle the attractions in any order. Pirates is useful practice: A jumps, B throws candles and Down ducks. For Autopia, accelerate with A, brake with B before sharp corners and collect the required stars rather than racing blindly for the line. Between rides, speak to the children dotted around the park and answer their Disney questions to earn the quiz key. Use Select to inspect the key and item display; once all six keys are present, head back to the castle to complete the adventure.

Controls

D-Pad moves in the park and provides ride-specific steering or direction; Start pauses and Select shows options/status. Pirates: A jumps (hold for extra height), B throws candles or fires the cannon, Down ducks. Autopia: A accelerates, B brakes, Left/Right steer. Big Thunder and Haunted Mansion use the D-Pad for track movement and A for jumps where available. In Space Mountain, match the shown D-Pad direction, press A for a right-hand button cue and B for a left-hand cue.

Adventures in the Magic Kingdom, Disney's — About this game

Adventures in the Magic Kingdom presents Walt Disney World's attractions as a set of compact NES challenges reached from a free-roaming park map. Autopia is a checkpoint race, Big Thunder Mountain is a junction-filled mine-cart run, the Haunted Mansion mixes rail riding with jumps, Pirates of the Caribbean adds platforming and projectiles, and Space Mountain tests reactions to on-screen commands. A sixth key is hidden behind questions from children in the park, so simply finishing the rides is not enough. Learning each attraction's separate controls is the main challenge before the final castle parade.
