How to Play Uninvited
Quick start
Press Start, choose one of the three files with Select, and begin a fresh game. Examine visible objects, but remember that containers often need to be opened before their contents can be taken. To use an item, select the use command, open the card list, choose the item, then point at its target. Save from the self-command menu before entering a suspicious room or testing an uncertain solution. Clues usually identify the correct item or spell, so avoid attacking every monster with the first weapon you find.
Controls
Move the icon and select commands, places, or inventory cards with the D-pad. A confirms a command, identifies its target, and advances messages; B cancels. Start begins the game. Select chooses player files 1–3 on the file screen. Item use is a multi-step sequence: choose Use, open the card screen, select an item, and then indicate its target with A. Saving is accessed through the self-command rather than a dedicated button.
Uninvited — About this game
Akuma no Shōtaijō is the Japanese Famicom version of Uninvited, adapted into a controller-driven command adventure. After a crash outside a sinister mansion, the young protagonist searches for his missing sister among ghosts, demons, traps, and lethal mistakes. Select verbs such as examine, open, take, and use, then point the on-screen icon at a person or object. Inventory cards and learned spells solve most obstacles, while three player files and battery-backed saves encourage careful experimentation before dangerous actions.
