How to Play Total Soccer Manager
Quick start
Start a new career and choose Player Manager if you want to control the matches as well as run the club; Full Manager keeps the focus on management. Select a league and team, review the starting eleven, formation and training, then advance to the first fixture. In Player Manager matches, keep possession with short B passes and use A near goal rather than shooting from poor angles.
Controls
Management screens: D-pad moves between icons, lists and values; A opens or confirms; B returns or cancels; START pauses during a played match. Match controls use the D-pad to move the nearest active player. With the ball, B passes to the selected nearby teammate and A shoots; off the ball or for a high ball, A also performs the context action such as slide tackle, jump or header. Team selection, training, positions, tactics and transfers are handled through the menu icons.
