How to Play Chequered Flag
Quick start
- Start and accelerate onto the circuit.
- Steer around traffic and use the brake to manage your speed.
- Change between low and high gear.
- Make a pit stop when damaged parts flash and finish before time runs out.
Controls
Steering input: turn left or right. Accelerator: increase throttle. Brake: slow down. Gear-change input: select low or high gear. Start: begin play. These are the original cabinet’s functional controls; keyboard and gamepad bindings depend on the emulator configuration.
Chequered Flag — About this game
Chequered Flag combines circuit racing with damage and fuel management. Complete each race before time expires while avoiding other cars and trackside barriers. Damaged parts flash, signalling that a pit stop is needed. The three-stage event changes cars as you advance, with three, four and three laps respectively. Reaching the finish earns a placement bonus, while running out of time or fuel, or destroying the car, ends the attempt.
