How to Play Knights of the Round (Count, Hack)
Quick start
- Choose a knight and learn the reach of the weapon.
- Press Attack, then hold away as an enemy strike arrives to block.
- Counterattack during the brief protection after a successful block.
- Save the Attack-and-Jump desperation action for emergencies because it consumes health.
Controls
Attack swings the weapon and Jump leaves the ground. To block, press Attack then hold the joystick away as the opponent strikes; a guard held without receiving an attack eventually fails. Attack + Jump performs the health-consuming desperation move. While mounted, double-tap forward for the horse’s stomp.

Knights of the Round (Count, Hack) makes defence central to its sword fights. Arthur, Lancelot and Perceval face enemies across seven stages, gaining stronger equipment as they develop. A properly timed block opens a short safe counterattack window, but holding the guard without receiving a blow tires the fighter and leaves an opening. Some confrontations are best approached by waiting for that successful defence rather than trading hits. Horses add mounted attacks during parts of the journey, while the simultaneous attack-and-jump desperation move provides an emergency escape at a health cost. Choose a fighter’s balance of speed and power, then learn the block timing early.
