How to Play Metal Slug 5 (Plus, Hack)
Quick start
- Learn the ordinary shot and jump.
- Face the intended direction and press Down + Jump to slide.
- Practise the slide away from a dangerous edge.
- Learn each vehicle’s movement when it becomes available.
Controls
Down + B, the Jump button, performs the slide in the facing direction. In Slug Gunner, holding Down while moving switches to tank form. Its faster tank movement trades away the walking form’s broader firing direction.
