How to Play Metal Slug 5 (20th Anniversary, Hack)
Quick start
- Choose a soldier and try shooting and jumping.
- Practice the down+B slide in a safe place.
- Press A while sliding to learn how to direct your moving fire.
- Collect weapons and use vehicles such as the Slug Gunner to advance.
Controls
Move left and right, crouch with down, shoot or attack at close range with A, jump with B and throw grenades with C. On foot, down+B slides and A fires during the slide. Press B at a boarding point to enter a Slug. Be mindful of the slide input when pressing jump while holding down.
Metal Slug 5 (20th Anniversary, Hack) — About this game
Pursue the Ptolemaic Army, an armed group that has stolen Metal Slug’s secret disk. Choose Marco, Tarma, Eri or Fio and fight through ruins and enemy bases. The new slide combines down and jump, letting you move quickly in a low stance and fire along the way. Its input can overlap with an attempt to jump and shoot downward, so practice where enemies are scarce first. The new two-legged Slug Gunner brings firepower beyond your infantry weapons. Keep an eye on weapon ammunition and grenades and distinguish moments for fast movement from those for careful aiming.
