How to Play Q*bert (early test version)
Quick start
- Learn each diagonal hop near the summit.
- Land on cubes until they show the target colour.
- Use an available side disc when Coily closes in.
- On later rounds, avoid undoing cubes already finished.
Controls
The diagonally oriented four-way joystick selects the neighbouring cube to hop onto. There is no ordinary attack button. Jumping off an edge without a disc loses a life; a disc returns Q*bert to the top.
Q*bert (early test version) — About this game
Q*bert (early test version) is an exact registered version in this game family. Follow increasingly complex color rules while avoiding enemies and fatal jumps beyond the edges. Version-specific changes to characters, stages, timing, difficulty, balance, graphics or hidden content are not inferred where the registration does not document them.
