How to Play Rastan Saga (Japan Rev 1)
Quick start
- Test sword reach and jump distance against the first enemies.
- Check the next platform before jumping and stay clear of pits and spikes.
- Collect weapons and armor and cross difficult areas while their effects last.
- Watch health, collect healing and advance toward the castle’s boss.
Controls
Move with the eight-way joystick and use the attack and jump buttons. An upgraded weapon changes attack range, so check its reach when switching. Weapons revert to the sword after time expires or a life is lost. Avoid pits, fire and ground spikes rather than relying on health to absorb them.
Rastan Saga (Japan Rev 1) — About this game
The barbarian warrior Rastan uses his sword and agility to reach a monster-filled castle. Pickups replace the sword with weapons such as an axe or flaming blade, changing power, reach and access to projectiles. Upgrades are temporary: time running out or losing a life restores the starting sword. Look for armor and healing, but remember that pits and fire remain dangerous even with health left. Check platforms before jumping and time your swings and landings near enemies. Learning the weapons and terrain prepares you for the final battle with a dragon.
