How to Play Street Fighter Alpha 3 (Hidden Character Full Version Fix ver. 2009-09-27, Hack)
Quick start
- Choose a fighter and an ISM.
- Learn normal-attack ranges and the defenses available in that ISM.
- Practice Super Combos in a system that uses them, or custom combos in V-ISM.
- Check recovery and air guarding again when changing ISM.
Controls
Press Up to jump, Down to crouch and Back to guard. Use the six Punch and Kick buttons. With enough gauge in V-ISM, press Punch and Kick of the same strength together to activate a custom combo. Press two Punch buttons during knockback for air recovery. In an ISM that supports ground recovery, press two Kick buttons for it.

Choose a fighter and one of three ISM systems. One offers multiple Super Combos, X-ISM uses one large gauge, and V-ISM replaces Super Combos with custom combos. Air guarding, ground recovery and counterattack options also depend on the system, so check its defenses rather than carrying over everything learned in another ISM. Learn the reach of the six normal attacks and the defensive options of one system before comparing the same fighter in another.
