How to Play Street Fighter Zero 3 (Japan 980629 Phoenix Edition) (bootleg)

Quick start

Choose a fighter and an ISM.
Learn normal-attack ranges and the defenses available in that ISM.
Practice Super Combos in Z or X, or custom combos in V.
Check recovery and air guarding again when changing ISM.

Controls

Press Up to jump, Down to crouch and Back to guard. Use the six Punch and Kick buttons. With enough gauge in V-ISM, press Punch+Kick of the same strength together for a custom combo. Two Punch buttons during knockback perform air recovery. Two Kick buttons perform ground recovery in ISMs that support it.

Choose a fighter and an X-, Z- or V-ISM. Z-ISM uses multiple Super Combos, X-ISM focuses on one large gauge, and V-ISM builds custom combos instead of Super Combos. The differences also affect air guarding, ground recovery and ZERO Counters, so defense learned in one ISM does not necessarily carry over. Learn the reach of six normal attacks and check your selected system’s defensive options. Start with one ISM before comparing the same fighter in another.
