Tag Team Wrestling — About this game
Tag Team Wrestling is an exact registered version in this game family. Tag Team Wrestling, also released as The Big Pro Wrestling!, resolves its grapples through quick decisions from an action menu. Positioning gets a wrestler into contact, but the key moment arrives when the on-screen Action cue appears: choose a maneuver and execute it before the opponent turns the exchange around. This gives the game a rhythm of approaching, grappling and selecting rather than a large set of directional special-move motions. Learn the menu response before repeatedly re-entering a grapple. The arcade game’s tag-team contest should be kept separate from the later NES conversion’s particular team names and individual character rules. Version-specific changes to characters, stages, timing, difficulty, balance, graphics or hidden content are not inferred where the registration does not document them.
