How to Play Vulgus (set 1)
Quick start
- Move the ship around incoming enemies and shots.
- Use the regular gun for sustained fire.
- Spend cannon ammunition on useful lines of enemies.
- Collect POW items to restore the limited supply.
Controls
Joystick: move. Shot: fire the ordinary gun. Cannon: fire the limited secondary weapon. POW items replenish cannon ammunition.
Vulgus (set 1) — About this game
Vulgus (set 1) sends its spacecraft through alternating planetary surfaces and space fields without a conventional stage-ending structure. The ordinary gun has unlimited ammunition, while the separate cannon consumes a limited stock replenished by POW items. Formations make the powerful weapon useful for more than emergency defence, since lining up several enemies can increase its scoring value. Surviving depends on balancing aggressive fire with room to dodge as the repeating journey becomes increasingly difficult.
