How to Play ウィズ (Taito, set 1)
Quick start
- Check stick movement, jumping and shooting.
- Look at the platforms and enemies, then move right.
- After collecting magic, use the selection control to check available spells.
- Reach a checkpoint or exit before the hourglass empties and use magic at difficult sections.
Controls
Use the eight-way stick to move and jump. The two buttons control shooting and magic selection. Jumping also uses the stick. Check your available magic and choose it before enemies surround you.
ウィズ (Taito, set 1) — About this game
Guide the wizard Wiz through a side-scrolling world spanning the underworld, surface and sky. Jump between platforms and attack monsters to advance through each layer, taking care around pits that can drop you to a lower one. An empty hourglass costs a life, so avoid spending too long on the route. Magic found along the way can stop enemies, protect you or increase movement speed. Choose where to use it by checking your available spells and the platforms ahead. Begin by moving right toward checkpoints and exits, and work toward defeating the dragon beyond the sky.
