How to Play Xexex (ver AAA)
Quick start
- Fire at the opening enemies.
- Use Flint Control to launch the Flint.
- Move behind its protection and collect an available upgrade.
- Call it back before the next approach needs protection at the ship’s nose.
Controls
The joystick moves the ship. Fire shoots; holding Fire with the Flint attached charges its tentacle attack, released when Fire is let go. Flint Control launches the Flint or calls it back. In these overseas versions, an uncharged launch still throws it forward and detached Fire has no automatic rapid-fire.
Xexex (ver AAA) — About this game
Xexex (ver AAA) couples the Flintlock’s gun with the alien Flint attached to its nose. Sending the Flint outward lets its tentacles intercept threats and attack enemies while the ship takes another position. The overseas editions use an energy reserve instead of a stock of lives, and improve a spreading main shot with pickups alongside secondary missiles. Managing the Flint’s position and the remaining energy shapes the advance toward each boss.
