How to Play Xexex (ver JAA)
Quick start
- Fire at the opening enemies.
- Use Flint Control to detach the Flint nearby.
- Hold Fire for repeated shots while it is detached.
- Recall it, then hold and release Fire for a charged tentacle attack.
Controls
Move with the joystick. Fire shoots; hold it while the Flint is detached for repeated shots. With the Flint attached, hold Fire to charge and release it for a tentacle attack. Flint Control detaches it nearby or recalls it; pressing Flint Control after charging launches it forward.
Xexex (ver JAA) — About this game
The Japanese Xexex uses the Flint as a flexible shield and biological weapon. Its detached tentacles attack and protect a position while the Flintlock can hold Fire for repeated shots. With the Flint attached, holding Fire instead charges a long tentacle strike; charging before release can also throw the Flint forward. Different weapon pickups change the shot, while a hit costs a life and sends the ship back to a checkpoint.
