Press START to reach the Game Menu, move Left/Right to a title, adjust its options with Up/Down, then press A to begin. Asteroids is an easy first pick: keep the default controls, start with three or four ships, break large rocks before their faster fragments surround you, and reserve hyperspace for an unavoidable collision. The collection also includes Battlezone, Centipede, Missile Command, Super Breakout, Tempest, and Trivia Challenge.

Menu: Left/Right chooses a game, Up/Down changes its options, and A confirms and starts; in an option screen Up/Down selects, Left/Right changes the value, and A returns. START pauses, and A+B+START+SELECT returns directly to the Game Menu. Asteroids uses Left/Right to turn, Up to thrust, A/L/R to fire and B for hyperspace. Battlezone moves with the D-Pad and fires with A/B/L/R. Centipede moves with the D-Pad and fires with A/B/L/R. Missile Command moves the crosshair with the D-Pad, fires the middle base with A/B, left base with L and right base with R. Super Breakout moves the bat with Left/Right or L/R, serves with A and chooses game type with B before play. Tempest moves left/right, fires with A/L/R and uses the Super Zapper with B.
