How to Play Bigfoot
Quick start
In overhead races, steer through gates, use A for turbo, and save B items for obstacles or the rival. Before each stadium event, buy only the parts you need. In side view, alternate Left and Right quickly to accelerate, hold B for extra power without overheating, and press A to shift when the tachometer rises. Protect your cash because overspending can end the campaign.
Controls
Overhead races — D-pad: steer; A: turbo boost; B: use collected special item; START: pause. Side-view events — alternate Left/Right: accelerate; B: super acceleration; A: shift; START: pause. Menus use the D-pad and action buttons to buy or remove upgrades.
Bigfoot — About this game
Bigfoot for NES alternates between overhead checkpoint races and side-view monster-truck contests such as mud racing, car crushing, hill climbing, tractor pulling, and a final drag race. Winning events adds money, but repairs and upgrades for the engine, tires, fuel, and transmission reduce the same bankroll used to determine the final result. Overhead stages use direct steering, turbo, and collected special items. Stadium stages instead require rapidly alternating Left and Right to accelerate, shifting at the correct engine speed, and managing boost heat and fuel. The campaign is won by reaching New York with more cash than the rival truck.
