How to Play Bigfoot
Quick start
Use the overhead opening race to learn steering, A turbo, and B items. At the first parts screen, repair weak components instead of buying everything. In side-view events, repeatedly alternate Left and Right, press A to shift at useful RPM, and hold B only while temperature and fuel allow. Reach each finish and keep a larger bankroll than the opposing truck.
Controls
Overhead — D-pad steers, A activates turbo, B uses the stored special item, START pauses. Side view — rapidly alternate Left and Right to accelerate, B activates the supercharger, A shifts gears, START pauses. D-pad and action buttons also operate the upgrade shop.
Bigfoot — About this game
The US NES release of Bigfoot follows the famous blue monster truck through a sequence of overhead road races and side-view arena competitions. Rally routes reward accurate gate navigation, turbo use, and well-timed special items. Mud races, tractor pulls, hill climbs, car-crush events, and the final drag race use a very different rhythm: alternate the D-pad to build speed, shift gears, and use super acceleration while avoiding heat and fuel problems. Prize money pays for parts between events, yet cash is also the victory measure, so buying every upgrade can be as damaging as losing a race.
