How to Play Bubble Bobble Part 2
Quick start
At the title screen, choose a player mode with SELECT and begin with START. Start by trapping nearby enemies and bursting their bubbles without walking into untrapped foes. Hold A to use bubbles as stepping stones and practice floating with B before crossing hazards. Take hearts when below the five-heart limit, and collect the pencil whenever it appears to preserve your continue supply.
Controls
Left/right: move. A: jump; keep held to hop on bubbles. B: blow bubbles; hold to float/charge, then release for a Super Bubble. START: begin or pause/resume. SELECT: choose the player mode at the title screen. In bonus games, B strikes the volleyball, shoves an item-race rival, or dunks the basketball.
Bubble Bobble Part 2 — About this game
Bubble Bobble Part 2 sends Bubby and Bobby after the Skull Brothers to rescue Judy. In each platform room, every enemy must be defeated before the adventure continues. Bubbles can trap foes, become footholds, or unleash special effects, while holding the attack button lets the dinosaur charge a larger bubble and float through the air. Hearts provide a damage buffer, and shoes, candy, crystals, and pencils reward attention to the room's items. Bonus stages offer sports and item-collecting contests between the main battles. Players can choose a solo adventure or take turns in the two-player game; five continues are available, with pencil pickups providing another chance.
