How to Play BurgerTime
Quick start
Select the player mode with SELECT and begin with START. Work on upper ingredients first so their falls can affect layers below. Before entering an outer dead end, lure nearby enemies away and keep a ladder route open. Leave a small part of an ingredient untouched, wait for a pursuer to step onto it, then finish the crossing to drop both together. Use pepper when it opens an escape, and collect bonus food for another use when safe.
Controls
D-pad left/right: walk along platforms; up/down: climb ladders. A or B: use pepper in the facing direction. SELECT: choose one or two players at the title screen. START: begin and pause/resume. Ingredients fall by walking across their full width.
BurgerTime — About this game
Japan's Famicom BurgerTime turns a kitchen into a maze of platforms and ladders. Peter Pepper must walk over each ingredient completely so it drops, strikes lower layers, and eventually forms a burger on the plates below. Hot dogs, eggs, and pickles pursue him through the same routes. A falling ingredient can clear enemies, while pepper briefly stuns a threat that blocks an escape. Pepper is limited, making careful routing and timing more dependable than repeated attacks. Clearing every burger advances the stage; the six layouts lead into another loop. The two-player option gives players alternating turns.
