How to Play Star Voyager
Quick start
Open the information screen with SELECT and identify Noah, nearby bases, enemy sectors and hazards before moving. Pick a close station as a safe first destination, steer toward its map sector and hold B to accelerate into warp. On arrival, cut speed with a tap of B, center targets and fire with A. Refuel early, return to Noah when life support flashes, and intercept enemy fleets moving toward the carrier instead of roaming without a destination.
Controls
D-pad steers the ship and selects a warp destination on the information map. A fires laser cannons; on the subscreen it toggles the Defense Barrier. Hold B to accelerate and continue holding until the warp meter fills; tap B to cut the engines and decelerate. SELECT toggles cockpit and information screens. START starts, pauses and resumes.
Star Voyager — About this game
Cosmo Genesis is the Japanese Famicom release later localized as Star Voyager. From a first-person cockpit, the pilot explores a randomized 100-sector map and must destroy nine Molok fleets before they overwhelm the refugee carrier CosmoStation Noah. Travel requires steering, accelerating and charging a warp across multiple sectors without drifting into black holes or asteroid belts. Space stations refuel or repair radar, Noah restores critical ship systems, and certain planets grant stronger lasers, shields or engines, blending navigation and resource management with real-time combat.
