Donkey Kong 2001 — About this game
Donkey Kong 2001 on Game Boy Color rebuilds the banana-recovery adventure around Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. Jump through jungles, ride mine carts and explore underwater routes while keeping both Kongs available and searching for bonus areas.
The stolen banana hoard gives the pair a reason to cross the island and face the Kremlings. DK barrels restore a missing partner, so keeping both Kongs available gives you another chance after a hit. This handheld version also includes extra activities such as Funky's Fishing; its presentation and controls belong to the GBC release.
