How to Play Dragon's Rock
Quick start
Press START, choose Julia or Julius and enter the first training stage for the great dragon test. Move to the right, clear the early jumps and defeat the small enemies with the starting fire shot before reaching the exit marker. The adventure contains sixteen stages in four settings; each group introduces tasks and stronger fire attacks. Collect hearts when hurt and search above and behind platforms for hidden bonuses. Learn what each of the four shot types does, then switch to the spread or flamethrower-style attack when a single forward shot cannot cover the route.
Controls
D-pad moves the dragon, crouches and aims where the stage allows. A jumps and confirms menu choices. B breathes the selected fire shot and cancels in menus. L/R cycle through the four unlocked shot types. START pauses. Hold a direction while jumping to control the landing, and release the fire button between shots when an enemy requires careful timing. The currently selected shot is shown on the HUD; new types become available as the dragon test progresses.
