First select TRAINING's NORMAL MODE in the title and decide on the character to use. Check the normal and unique skills in the "Command List" of START, and practice A (slash), B (strong slash), L (kick), and R (power technique). After trying out the dash of input twice before, the throw of forward + B when approaching, and the guard that inserts the front at the moment the attack hits, proceed to ARCADE. The first goal is to select one person from eight people, win a series of battles, and finally defeat Alpelen, who has Dual Blades. Difficult special moves are not forced to repeat, but are reliably connected to normal moves.

Use the cross button to move, crouch, jump, and enter commands. The initial settings are A = Slash, B = Strong Slash, L = Kick, R = Power Technique, and can be changed from the OPTIONS Buttons. Dash forward and backward/backward, get close and throw forward + strong slash, and block in front at the moment the attack hits. Holding Slash + Strong Slash is a recovery that consumes power, while back + Slash + Strong Slash while being hit while the gauge is at maximum is Breaker. Pause with START and open the Command List with Training.
