How to Play Elevator Action
Quick start
Choose one or two players with Select, then press Start. Move down through the building and stop on the white mat in front of each red door to enter and collect its file. Use elevators cautiously—ride inside to control them, but avoid shafts and crushing ceilings. Duck under gunfire, answer nearby guards with B, and use A to jump-kick or cross small gaps. After every red door has been cleared, continue to the basement getaway car.
Controls
D-pad Left/Right: walk; Up: stand, ride an escalator upward, or move an occupied elevator up; Down: duck, ride an escalator downward, or move an occupied elevator down. A: jump/jump-kick. B: fire the pistol in bursts of up to three shots. Select: choose one or two players at the selection screen. Start: begin and pause/resume.
Elevator Action — About this game
Elevator Action casts you as a spy descending from the roof of an enemy building to a getaway car below. Every secret document hidden behind a red door must be collected before the escape can succeed, so elevators and escalators become both routes and hazards while armed guards emerge from blue doors. Walk, duck under bullets, fire a three-shot pistol, or leap into a jump kick; lamps can also be shot down to darken a floor or crush an enemy. This entry runs the original 1985 Japanese Famicom release, while the core mission and controller layout are shared with the later US NES cartridge.
