Quick start
After finishing the first part, start from side A of the first part disc. Use SELECT on the title to select "Select", press START, and follow the on-screen instructions to insert the second part disc. If the first part is not completed, the second part cannot be started. If you select "From the beginning of the story", the game will start from the beginning of the second part regardless of the save location of the second part. When the investigation resumes, select a command using the up or down buttons, press A to execute it, and continue questioning while remembering the testimonies you've given so far.
Controls
D-pad up and down: Command selection. Move the cursor to investigate in four directions, and press A to decide. A is the operation to proceed to the next page from ▼ in the message, and B is the operation to cancel the command or character input. When you are asked to enter a character, use the cross keys and A to select it, and finally select ED with A. At the start, use SELECT to select "Choose the best" and press START to proceed. START and SELECT are not used during normal research. To interrupt and save, execute "Stop" with A, and follow the instructions on the screen to change the disk and save.

The investigation into Yoko Kojima's death leads to ghost stories told at Ushimitsu High School and an unsolved case from 15 years ago. In the second part, we review the testimonies obtained in the first part and the actions of those involved, and repeatedly interview new people to explore the relationship between the two incidents. The basic command selection method is the same as the first part. Use actions such as asking questions, looking/investigating, showing things you have, and thinking to advance your deductions in the office. It is important to pay attention not only to the text, but also to the facial expressions and background of the person, and to identify any discrepancies with past testimonies. This is not a stand-alone short story, but a sequel disc that requires a record of the first part. The procedure is to restart the investigation from side A of the first part, and then move on to the second part by following the instructions on the screen.
